🍻 Profs & Pints: Frankenstein, Knowledge, & Forgiveness
Monday, January 26 | 6:00 PM
📍Napa Yard
Profs & Pints brings professors out of the classroom and into the beer garden for engaging, accessible talks paired with great drinks and conversation.
This month, join Dr. Kim Hester Williams, professor of literature at Sonoma State University, for a thought-provoking discussion of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and its enduring relevance. Together, we’ll explore how the novel wrestles with questions of knowledge, responsibility, empathy, and forgiveness — and why this Gothic classic continues to resonate in our modern world.
Come early, grab a pint, and settle in for a lively talk followed by audience Q&A. This is a relaxed, social event designed for curious minds, whether you’ve read Frankenstein recently or only know the story by reputation.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Talk begins at 6:00 PM.
Advance tickets are recommended.
