This isn’t just a ghost tour; it’s an active exploration into the unseen. For one electrifying evening, you’ll become part of the team, delving into a series of historically rich and reportedly active locations:
The Parc Hall and Theatre: For over 150 years, this has been the vibrant heart of the community. Imagine the countless souls who have passed through its doors, the emotions embedded in its very walls. What spectral tales are waiting for a new audience?
Parc Chapel: (To be confirmed) A cornerstone of life throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, this sacred space has witnessed generations of devotion, joy, and sorrow. Will the spirits of its former congregation choose to share their presence and stories with us?
The Pit Head Baths: The sole remaining sentinel of the once-sprawling Parc and Dare Pits, closed since the 1950s. Staff have reported profound and unsettling paranormal experiences here. It’s time to see if we can illuminate the cause of these ghostly encounters.
Hallowed Grounds of Industry and Memory: We’ll also take a short, atmospheric walk to the sites of the former Parc and Dare pits. Though the towering infrastructure is gone, the land remembers. Our journey will include a poignant visit to the memorial of the 1941 bombing, a stark reminder of a past that refuses to be silent.
The full, spine-tingling itinerary is currently being meticulously crafted by our expert teams to ensure a night that is both exhilarating and safe. But here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Intimate Investigations: You’ll be divided into small, dedicated groups, each rotating through our three historic buildings. This ensures everyone gets a chance to experience a variety of investigative approaches. (For everyone’s safety, please stick with your group!)
Become a Paranormal Investigator: Get hands-on with professional ghost-hunting equipment! We’ll be conducting experiments using:
EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena): Can we capture voices from beyond?
ITC (Instrumental TransCommunication) & Spirit Communication: Using technology to bridge the veil.
Motion Detection & EMF (Electromagnetic Field) Communication: Tracking unseen movements and energy fluctuations.
Connect with the Other Side: Learn and participate in time-honored physical paranormal techniques. Dare to take part in:
A Live Séance: A focused attempt to communicate directly with any spirits present.
Human Pendulum: Could you become a conduit for spiritual responses?
Gather the Evidence: This is your investigation too! We’ll be using audio and visual equipment throughout the night, and any compelling footage captured may be shared by Spiritual Worlds or The Ghost Detectives on social media or in future paranormal discussions. We wholeheartedly encourage you to bring your own cameras, audio recorders, and any paranormal investigation gear you possess!
A Few Important Notes for Aspiring Ghost Hunters:
Age Restriction: Attendees must be 18 years of age or over.
Dress for the Adventure: Parts of our investigation will be outdoors and may involve walking on uneven and potentially muddy terrain. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are essential.
Light Up the Night: Some locations will be very dark. A torch is not just advisable, it’s a must-have!
Respect the Spirits: Antagonising or provoking any suspected spiritual presence is strictly forbidden. We are here to investigate respectfully.
