Focusing on colour exploration as our starting point, you’ll be guided through playful, hands-on exercises using a range of techniques to bring still life scenes and photographs to life. This class is less about rules and more about learning through doing, experimenting, and finding your personal painting style.
What you can expect:
🎨 Foundations in colour mixing, brushwork, composition, and working from reference images
🎨 Playful exercises to explore colour relationships, mood, and storytelling through paint
🎨 Painting from still life arrangements and photographs to practice observation and interpretation
🎨 A supportive, all-levels environment where curiosity and creative risk-taking are encouraged
🎨 Gentle guidance, demonstrations, and space for personal exploration No experience necessary — just a willingness to play with paint and see what unfolds.
All materials provided, or bring your own favourites if you wish.
