This July, the Nanaimo Conservatory of Music is offering a series of exciting String Summer Camps for young musicians of all levels! Whether your child is picking up a string instrument for the first time or already taking lessons, we’ve got something for them.
🎵 Beginner String Camp – July 21 | $115
🎻 All Day Camp (9AM - 4PM) for ages 3 and up
No experience necessary, and instruments are supplied!
👶 Ages 3–5 must attend with a parent/caregiver.
👧 Ages 6+, parent attendance is optional.
A fun and playful introduction to music and string instruments led by our experienced faculty.
Make sure to pack a lunch!
🎶 String Camp for Experienced Students – July 22–24 | $160
🎻 Morning Session (9AM–12PM) for ages 3–8
Parent/Caregiver's must attend for ages 3 - 5 yr olds
🎻 Afternoon Session (1PM–4PM) for ages 9+
Join us for three fun-filled days of music-making, including mini masterclasses, ensemble playing, and group classes—all in a supportive and joyful environment. The camp wraps up with a short performance for caregivers to enjoy!
All camps are led by NCM’s skilled and passionate string faculty who are professional performers and dedicated educators.
