Land Acknowledgement Workshop

Are you curious about the meaning behind land acknowledgements? Want to know how they connect to reconciliation and why they matter today? Led by Indigenous Engagement Coordinator bailey macabre, this engaging workshop will explore the purpose and importance of land acknowledgements, the history behind them and their connection to colonization, and how they relate to decolonial thinking and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.

Whether you’re part of a community group, an organization, or simply interested in learning more, this session will provide practical ways to make your acknowledgements more meaningful. Everyone welcome.
