Handbuilding with Clay

6 week handbuilding course with Bari Precious
March 5 - April 9, 2026, 6:30 PM - 9 PM
Must be 14+ to attend, $330, all materials provided

This hand-building class is designed for students with little to no experience. Explore the multitude of techniques accessible to ceramic artists and potters without the potter's wheel.

The syllabus includes pinch, coil and slab work in clay to make various functional and non-functional items. Projects may include birdhouses, small ornamental sculptures, and dishes such as plates, cups and bowls. Dishes made at our studio are dishwasher and microwave-safe.

Handbuilding gives so many more options than the potters wheel. Our creativity can shine!

On weekends and evenings, parking is free on the street. Closest parkade is the Bastion Parkade, free on weekends and evenings after 5 PM.
