Come to musically channel the rage, mourning, and hope in resistance as we raise funds for families in Gaza. This event is meant to be a harmonic variation of the vibe from the local weekly Saturday protests against the livestreamed genocide.
Palestinian activists Sara Kishawi, Hala Kishawi and others will be sharing their perspectives and their experiences throughout the show.
Bandeira Parker and friends will be galvanizing and healing through Beatles songs, tunes from the 80s and 90s as well as some songs in Arabic sung by Ammar Alsouri.
The performers: Michael MacKinnon, Daniel Geselbracht, Jarrett Levesque, Liam Poulin, Rhianna Solomon, Richard Loucks, Sara Ciantar and Marieke Jongkind.
Suggested minimum donation: $10 (no one will be turned away)
When: Sunday Sept 21st from 2pm-4:30pm (doors open at 1:30)
Where: Pacific Gardens 347 Seventh St, Harewood
