Emotional Expression Through Songwriting & Sound

On Oct. 21, I'm excited to host a workshop exploring how everyone is capable of unlocking the positive effects of sound and songwriting.
I will briefly share my personal journey and the songwriting process I believe is accessible to everyone - even those without prior musical training. We will also go through a quick overview of some of the findings in the Found in Sound docu-series, which dove into the potential benefits of sound on human mental, emotional and physical health.
We will participate in group activities and, hopefully, leave with the inspiration to get writing - anything from one-line mantras to mini-memoirs, or whatever you feel you are ready to put to a melody - and be ready to integrate songwriting into your life as a stress relief tool.
