Come join us for an exciting night of capturing the mesmerizing beauty of the night sky! This event will focus on advanced techniques for capturing the stars, including the spectacular return of Orion to the night sky. Additionally this is the final month to capture the Core of our Milky Way Galaxy. For those who can shoot independently, this event at Cape Hatteras National Seashore is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their night sky photography skills. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn and capture the magic of the cosmos!

There is a Maximum of 5 participants and a Minimum of 3 participants for this event.

Dare County and surrounding locale is a dark sky area suitable for capturing the Milky Way and Night Sky.

Advanced Night Sky capture is geared towards those advanced shooters with an interest in Astro-Photography / NightScapes utilizing proper capture technique. You will need a FULL FRAME Sensor digital camera, a wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.8 or wider, a cable shutter release, and a sturdy tripod. Information on camera settings for proper capture/exposure for Night Sky will be provided as it relates to your equipment. Our focus will be on the best possible capture of a properly exposed single frame capture, stacking, and tracking for the ultimate night sky image.

Proper dress for this event is a must for areas that may have standing water, high tides, to include insects typically found in this coastal area.

Cost for this Event is $385.00 / Transportation, Lodging, and Meals are NOT included.
