On a distant island, a woman waits. Robbed of her position, power, and wealth, her enemies have left her in isolation. But this is no ordinary woman—and this is no ordinary island. Prospera is a magician, able to control the elements and bend nature to her will.

When a sail appears on the horizon, she conjures a mighty storm to wreck the ship and bring her enemies ashore. But on this fantastical island, nothing is as it seems… and magic is everywhere.
