ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Classroom to Career Program (CCP) is a two-day workshop that helps students transition from academic life to the professional world. It’s designed to give them the essential skills and insights needed to succeed in today’s job market.
This program aligns with national initiatives like the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the goals of a Skilled India (Kushal Bharat). It also serves as a practical application of the core principles outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which aims to transform India’s education system. By focusing on empowering the youth (YUVA), a key pillar of Developed
India (Viksit Bharat), this workshop helps students become confident, skilled contributors to national progress.
The CCP provides an immersive and practical experience, helping students develop the knowledge and confidence they need by:
• Focusing on Employability: The workshop goes beyond theory, emphasizing high-demand skills like critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and digital literacy that are vital for today’s jobs.
• Encouraging Entrepreneurship: Students are introduced to the
fundamentals of self-employment and startup culture, inspiring them to become job creators rather than just job seekers.
• Promoting Lifelong and Skill-Based Learning: The program encourages students to explore various career paths and develop skills beyond their specific academic fields, reinforcing the importance of continuous learning to stay relevant in a dynamic work environment.
• Emphasizing Experiential Learning: The workshop uses hands-on
activities, group discussions, and mock interviews to focus on practical, application-based knowledge.
• Bridging the Industry-Academia Gap: Through real-world case studies and practical insights, the program ensures that the skills students learn are directly applicable to the needs of the industry.
