What will be covered in this training?
What is Yin – philosophy – definition – concept
What is fascia?
Props – how to use in each pose and why we need them for both range of motion limitations and hypermobility.
Demo of each pose – understand target area and modifications for each
Safety and options based on each students restrictions, limitations, injuries
Understanding the transition time between poses, known as the rebound
Understanding of the “edge”
Energetic aspect of Yin - Chakras, Meridians, Earth Elements, Qi
Meditative aspect of yin - Mindfulness, Awareness of mind body connection
Importance of teacher authenticity. Use your voice and what speaks to you. Letting go of ego.

Dates:
Friday, March 27th (5pm - 8pm)
Saturday, March 28th (8am - 8pm) break for lunch
Sunday, March 29th (8am - 6pm) break for lunch
*Training will take place at Real Hot Yoga - Magnolia Row
Prerequisite for this Training: Any 200-hour Yoga Alliance-registered certification OR if you have the desire to dig deeper into your own personal Yin practice, this is a great way to do it.
One class observation required for certification.
The cost for this training is $450 per participant. Early bird discount of $50 until March 1st.
Participants will receive 25 contact hours and completion will count towards the RYT and E-RYT requirements of 30 hours of yoga related training every 3 years through Yoga Alliance.
