This class meets Friday mornings on the following dates from 9:30am-11:30am:
Workshop Dates: 9/5, 9/12, & 9/26
In this workshop, you will be able to experience creating with clay in wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques:
Week One: Introduction & Wheel Throw Basics
Week Two: Handbuilding Basics (focusing on slab building)
Week Three: Glazing of pieces
This Workshop Includes:
3 (2 hour long) Classes: (PLEASE NOTE: If you cannot make these dates, please do not sign up for classes. There is limited availability. If you miss a session, you can only make up that session on a future date by paying a $45 studio fee.)
Clay Provided for at least 4 wheel thrown pieces and 1 handbuilt piece
Use of Wheel and Tools
You MUST be at least 12 years old for this workshop.
Please make sure to sign your piece prior to the end of the workshop. Rooted Beauty Arts LLC is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and claimed by another attendee.
Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Please note that pieces can crack or fall apart due to lack of technique following.
All classes at Rooted Beauty Pottery are beginner level. We do not strive for perfection in this studio, but more to the enjoy the experience and try something new. Enjoy your pieces, you are making memories!
Due to limited seating, we CANNOT refund cancellations or no shows. You will receive a future class credit IF you cancel within 72 hours of workshop date.
If you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms or have to postpone joining in on the fun, please reach out to instructor via gmail or phone call to process a future workshop credit.
