Jack Thompson's 75th Year in Myrtle Beach Dinner & Book Launch

Join us for a once in a lifetime celebration of Jack Thompson’s career milestone. He came to Myrtle Beach 75 years ago and has been capturing its local history in photographs ever since. Our gift to him is to make his latest book of historic Myrtle Beach photographs possible. As this event has been underwritten, all proceeds of the ticket sales will go to cover the publication costs. A buffet dinner with cash bar will be held at Pine Lakes Country Club on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:30 PM. Cocktail or business attire is appropriate. Jack Thompson will give an entertaining presentation about Myrtle Beach history that will feature some of his most iconic photographs. Guests will be the first to receive a copy of his latest book of historic photography that evening as part of their ticket price. Additional copies of the book may be purchased for $50. Cash or checks will be accepted for the books at the event, and credit cards, with a small convenience fee, can be used via this Eventbrite ticket page. All books will be at the event for pick-up.
