Join us for the official grand opening of Ms. Margaret’s Gullah T’ingz N Tea — a new cultural dining experience rooted in Gullah Geechee heritage, Southern soul food, and herbal wellness. Enjoy a full food line with authentic Gullah dishes, Soul Food staples, a fresh salad bar, homemade desserts, sandwiches and wraps, and our one-of-a-kind Herbal Tea Bar featuring organic teas and plant-based menu options.
💚 At the heart of this opening is our commitment to the community. Three days a week, our location will also serve as the home of the Helen P. Deas Community Food Program (HPD-CFP). This program provides hot meals, fresh produce, client registration, food distribution through our partner sites and access to critical-needs resources for families, seniors, and veterans in Horry and surrounding counties. HPD-CFP also hosts nutrition workshops, herbal classes, and cultural events like the annual Juneteenth Festival and Veterans Day Celebration.
✨ What to Expect at the Grand Opening:
-A first look at the restaurant and tea bar.
-Signature Gullah-inspired dishes and teas.
-Information about how the Community Food Program will serve families in need.
-Meet the very first Spotlight Chef Competition Winner whose featured dish will be served for the month.
-Details about holiday promotions, including Thanksgiving Catering Specials, Seafood Saturdays, and New Year’s Eve/Day dinners.
Come celebrate with us as we open our doors and build a space for food, culture, and community empowerment.
