Grand Strand Medical Center is proud to partner with Myrtle Beach Police Department in support of the Drug Enforcement Agency's (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in the fight against medication misuse and opioid addiction.
Crush the Crisis events aim to educate our communities on the risk of medication misuse while providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of unused and expired medications that may be left over from previous procedures or other medical visits.
The collection site will include a convenient drive thru medication drop-off option located in the Target parking lot. Please follow event signs and look for the tents set up for the event. The address is 1150 Seaboard St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
ACCEPTED ITEMS: Tablets or capsules in any packaging, patches,
medicated ointments, lotions or drops, liquid medications (in leakproof containers), vape cartridges (without batteries) and pet
medications*
