This month we are going to go over Junk Journal hard cover book out of cereal boxes or chip board and how to sew together a signature for your book.
Bring basic tool kit, craft mat, white wet glue, score board and bone folder, paper trimmer, sm. cutting pad, awl, tapestry needle, 4- pieces of cereal box or chip board 6 1/2" x 8 1/2", vintage photo or walnut ink pad with sponge applicator, several pieces of scrapbook paper and any other papers you would like to add to your signature.
Barbara will be teaching another monthly beginners Junk Journal class for those who haven't taken the previous class and for those who would enjoy retaking the class to sharpen their skills.
You will learn how to make Junk Journals, Signatures and ephemera to add to your Journal. A Junk Journal is a handmade and hand bound book created with recycled paper and found objects that might otherwise end up in the trash, hence "Junk Journal"
Barbara will have dyed paper, sheet music and misc. papers for you, but if you want other things to add, you can bring patterned paper, envelopes, bags, maps and any ephemera you would like to decorate the cover. We have limited seating so pre-register and pre-pay.
