✨ About The Inclusion Exchange
The Inclusion Exchange is a four-part speaker series presented by United Way of the Lakeshore in partnership with the Grand Rapids LGBTQ+ Healthcare Consortium. Through interactive, real-world training, this series offers community members, businesses, and service providers the tools to create spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals feel seen, respected, and safe.
All sessions are free and open to the public, and will take place on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM:
✅ October 15: Respect is the Default
✅ January 28: Power of Pronouns: A Business Case
✅ April 1: The Affirming Care Environment
👥 Who should attend?
Everyone is welcome — especially community members, business professionals, nonprofit staff, educators, healthcare workers, and anyone passionate about fostering inclusive spaces.
📜 Bonus! Attend all four sessions and you may qualify for a Safe Spaces Designation from the LGBTQ+ Healthcare Consortium — a meaningful recognition for individuals and organizations committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion. NOTICE - If you missed session 1, you still can earn the designation! We will be hosting the first session again at the end of the series.
✅ This event is FREE, but space is limited to 50 participants. Register early to save your spot!
