Sufi twirling dance mediation

Enter a trance state mediation twirling and whirling into deep presence. With roots in Islamic mysticism, founded by mystic poet Rumi in the 13th century, this practice can allow one to enter a transcendental state through repetitive spinning in a circle, mirroring the infinite dance of the celestial bodies. We will do a 30 minute warm up to expand the auric field and increase spacial awareness. Once warmed up we will twirl for approximately 20 minutes or until you reach your desired trance state. The twirling practice involves spinning with one foot firmly planted while focusing the gaze on one palm as the rest of the world falls away. I’ve found myself falling deeply in love with myself through this practice and am grateful to share this with the community. After the twirling music stops we will lay on our bellies and mediate into the trance state before being sweetly guided out into a relaxation meditation.
