After the gates close at MIMF on Sunday, we’re planning one final, intimate get-together. This will be our last opportunity – ever - to engage with you, our Barley-Buds. Not for a performance, but for reminiscing and discussion. We’ll have instruments (un-amplified), and we might play a few tunes by request, but this is really about being together one last time, and saying goodbye. From us to you. And we’re hoping you’ll have a few nice things to say by way of goodbye to us.
There will be microphones available for anyone who wants to share a story about the Barley Saints, maybe your favorite show, your favorite memory, your favorite member of the band (Cindy, obviously), or how you were first introduced to the band and became an official “Barley-Bud”. We’ll be sharing as well - all the dirty details of our history as a band, and probably more than you ever wanted to hear!
Join us for food and drinks and memories, courtesy of our emcee, Scott Decker, entertainment director for Unruly and founder of West Michigan Gaeltecht.
And then, when all is said and done, let’s hug, and cry, and promise to keep in touch for ever-and-ever.
By the way, if we ever decide to do a reunion show, it'll most definitely be at Unruly (they've already called dibs).
