In Bruce Fertman’s Walking Way, the simple act of walking is restored to its primal dignity. Locomotion becomes ritual. Walking becomes worship—a movement through the living temples of nature, where rocks are our altars and the winds carry our prayers.

About Bruce Fertman
Bruce Fertman is one of the world’s most influential Alexander Technique teachers, with over four decades of experience training teachers internationally. He is the founder of the Alexander Alliance International, a school dedicated to cultivating presence, direction, and grace in everyday life.
He is also the recent co-author of Walking Well: A New Approach for Comfort, Vitality, and Inspiration in Every Step (2024), a book that reimagines walking as both a practical art and a spiritual path.
Bruce is known for his extraordinary sensory ability—his touch and presence awaken subtle perception in others, allowing students to rediscover balance, ease, and depth of movement. His teaching blends Alexander principles with an artistry of awareness, offering people a way to move with uncommon clarity and ease.
