Join us on March 1st as we celebrate National Pig Day with our very first Open Farm Day at A Place to Be Farm Sanctuary!
We’re opening the farm from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, and you’re invited to stop by anytime during those hours. This event is completely free and open to all members of our community. At the farm, we want everyone to feel welcome to come experience the sanctuary.
Come meet our rescued pigs and other farm residents, learn more about our mission, play games, and see firsthand the work we’re doing to provide a safe and loving home for farm animals in need.
This is the first of what we hope will become regular Open Farm Days, giving our community the opportunity to connect with the sanctuary and the animals who call it home.
While this is a free event, monetary donations and in-kind item donations are always appreciated. If you feel called to support the sanctuary, you can find our wish list linked in our Linktree.
As always, we ask all guests to:
*Respect posted signage
*Follow volunteer guidance
*Help us maintain a calm and safe environment for our animals
For the safety of both our animals and visitors, all guests must complete a visitor waiver before entering the farm.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
We are so excited to celebrate National Pig Day with our community and can’t wait to see you there!
