This free, family-friendly gathering aims to showcase our diversity and bring our Murfreesboro community together, regardless of faith, color, ethnicity, or any other differences.
We will have:
## Cultural Displays & Activities
* Multiple stations highlighting the diverse heritages of our community members.
* Each station represents a different country or culture, featuring traditional food, decorations, and educational information.
* Interested in hosting a cultural station? Please sign up to participate.
## Nonprofit Participation
* Local nonprofits are invited to host tables to showcase their work to the community.
* Tables are free, but nonprofits must bring their own tents and supplies.

BACKGROUND
On the last weekend of October 2017, Murfreesboro’s Public Square was eerily empty as the town braced for an anti-immigrant white nationalist rally. Barricades blocked the square’s entrances, and storefronts were boarded up. Yet, these boards bore beautiful messages like “love always,” “in the face of love, everyone is equal,” and “Murfreesboro Loves.”
Now, on the anniversary of that weekend, downtown Murfreesboro will be a place of celebration of our diversity with the "Love Your Neighbor" event.
