💜 Community Picnic Announcement 💜
On February 21st, we’ll be hosting our very first Community Picnic, and I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to share this with you all.
❣️ Please help spread the word - we have exactly ONE month to reach as many people as possible! ❣️
While The Shared Loaf was created with those needing extra support in mind, this picnic is truly for everyone. No questions asked. No explanations needed. You are welcome here.✨
Our goal this month is to feed 200 people, and I cannot do this alone. I truly need my community to come alongside me — through prayer, sharing, serving, or donating. 🙏
Ways you can help:
• Donating food or drinks
• Donating cups, plates, or napkins (Tupperware to deliver meals in)
• Volunteering the day of (serving food or helping prep the area)
• Volunteering to pray with anyone who wants prayer
• Simply sharing this post far and wide
I’m also in the process of making The Shared Loaf a non-profit, which will help us better meet the needs of our community moving forward.
🍽️ Menu:
PB&J sandwiches
Fried bologna sandwiches (if electrical works out-otherwise cold bologna sandwiches)
Fresh Salad
Food will be cooked fresh on site. To keep everything clean and safe, food will be served to you rather than self-serve. Lines may happen- thank you for your patience as we do our best to serve everyone well.

📍 Location:Emery United Methodist Church (2989 Emery Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130)
Come when you can. Stay and visit, or grab your food and go - whatever feels right for you.
🚗 Delivery:
From 7:00-9:00 PM, I’ll be delivering leftovers to those without transportation. A sign-up sheet will be posted closer to the event for anyone needing delivery.
Any unused, sealed items will also be posted here for pickup. 💕
🎶 We’ll have music and one cornhole board available. Feel free to bring appropriate games to share - just keep in mind that little ones may be present.
If you’re interested in serving with us, please take the rest of January to pray over this ministry work and what role you may be called to play. In February, I’ll share a sign-up sheet for volunteers.
