Auditions will be in the form of a cold reading of the script.

PLOT
It's four days before Christmas in the tiny town of Tinsel, Texas, and a colorful parade of eccentric guests arrive at the Snowflake Inn and deck the halls with holiday hilarity. This family-friendly Jones Hope Wooten Christmas comedy is more fun than a joyride in a one-horse open sleigh!

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Trina Wilcott - Female Lead, 30s-60s
The harried yet bright and bubbly innkeeper of the Tinsel B&B

(All of the following roles can be doubled with other roles. We will also cast younger or older for all these characters.)

Cuddles – Female, 40s-50s
Nervous guest, who is at the Tinsel having a role playing rendezvous with her husband “Binky”. She is acting as Mrs Claus, having an affair with an elf.

Donna Jo Austin - Female, 40s-50s
Bright and spunky. Hoyt’s sister. She and her brother are trying end a feud between their aunts Ennis and Della.

Ennis Puckett – Female, 80s
Curmudgeonly and sharp-tongued. Aunt to Hoyt and Donna Jo. Sister to Della. Can be played by a younger woman.

Della Crowder – Female, 80s
Feisty, sweet lady. Aunt to Hoyt and Donna Jo. Sister to Ennis. Can be played by a younger woman.

Lenora Benedict – Female, 50s-60s
A self-involved prima donna from a very budget touring company of The Christmas Carol.

Paulette Coogan - Female, 30s-40s
Blunt, humorless stage/road manager for touring company.

Twink Futrelle Buntner - Female 40s-50s
Determined and practical sister of Honey Raye, Frankie and Rhonda Lynn.

Honey Raye Futrelle – Female, 50s
Sexy and vivacious older sister of Frankie and Twink and younger half sister of Rhonda Lynn. She’s getting married at the Tinsel.

Frankie Futurelle Dubberly – Female, 40-50s
Sensible and down to earth youngest sister of Honey Raye and Twink and half sister to Rhonda Lynn.

Rhonda Lynn Lampley- Female 50s
Spunky and saucy older half sister to Honey Raye, Twink and Frankie.

Binky – Male, 40s-50s
Nervous guest, who is at the Tinsel having a role playing rendezvous with his wife “Cuddles.” He is role playing one of Santa’s elves who is having an affair with Mrs Claus.

Hoyt Ledford – Male, 40s-60s
Anxious man with an agenda. Donna Jo’s brother. He and his sister are trying end a feud between their aunts Ennis and Della.

Ainsley Danforth – Male, 50s-60s
Pompous overly dramatic actor from a very budget touring company of The Christmas Carol.
