Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu live!

Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu is a cellist, composer, and improviser. Her main interest in music lies in moving between genres and experimenting with ways to explore non-genre specifications. Her music is rooted in Istanbul and her engagement with European classical music and Turkish makam, expanding into experimental music, free improvisation, contemporary, and electroacoustic music. She has been based in Berlin since 2023.

In her solo performances at TAM TAM, Hatipoğlu performs with cello and voice. She moves between genres, switching between live electronics, field recordings and fixed media compositions.
