Join us for our Shred Day on Saturday, September 20th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bethel Branch parking lot. This event is a great way to safely dispose of your confidential documents and protect yourself from fraud and identity theft.
Why is shredding important?
Fraud prevention starts with you. When you throw away sensitive documents like old bank statements, credit card offers, or medical bills, you're leaving a trail of personal information for criminals to find. Tearing up documents isn't enough; professional shredding ensures they're completely destroyed.
What should you shred?
Bring any documents that contain personal information, such as:
-Old tax records
-Bank and credit card statements
-Credit card applications
-Medical and insurance forms
-Canceled or voided checks
To make sure we can help as many members as possible, there's a five-box limit per person.
