Intro to Metals: Cabochon

In this intermediate-level workshop, you'll learn how to create your own colorful polymer clay cabochons and set them in hand-cut metal using a traditional tab setting technique. Students will explore sawing and texturing metal, and securely setting their cabochons without soldering. This is a great class for anyone interested in combining metalwork with bold, handmade elements. Leave with a finished pendant and the skills to make more on your own!

All materials provided. Some experience with metalworking or jewelry tools is recommended, but beginners are welcome with instructor guidance.
