Drop Spinning

Discover the ancient craft of spinning with a drop spindle, one of the oldest textile tools. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to draft wool into yarn, practice “dropping” the spindle to spin a continuous thread, and explore plying techniques. We’ll also take a quick look at other spindle types, like the Turkish and takhli. Perfect for beginners and fiber enthusiasts alike!
