3rd – 5th Grade Coding & Game Design, Hill Climbing Racing Game on Makecode

Coders will be able to create their own playable game and customize their characters.

This class is great for beginners and students who have had limited exposure to Makecode.

We all want our kids to find their passion or engage in activities that stimulate their love of learning. Parents will see their children learn problem solving techniques, a drive to try something new, and gain knowledge about coding and technology that can assist them in the future.

The lead host will be Mikayla Rainho, instructor at TechWise Academy.

Age: 3rd-5th grade

Prerequisite: Familiarity with a computer and mouse recommended.

No need to bring anything to the class! TechWise Academy will provide everything you need for this course.

Yes. Most of our classes are drop-off style. You are welcome to leave your child with us and then return at the end of class.

TechWise Academy teaches coding and computer science to children, K-12, and introduce them to new ways to problem solve and explore curiosity and creativity. Students can explore computer science in experience-led curriculum online and in person.
