Special Storytime with singer-songwriter and author, Karla Bauer.

KARLA BAUER is an award-winning singer-songwriter and author from Kansas City. As an independent artist, she has released five studio albums, created the uplifting Christmas musical “Hope is Alive”, and wrote the children’s book “Be Still - A Mother’s Lullaby”, winner of the 2024 awards for Best Children’s Picture Book and Best Overall Design.

Karla blends her love for music and education by performing her original songs while making high-quality art programs accessible to kids in underserved and rural communities. Her mission is to educate children on how to stay safe in a digital world.
