A Homeschooling Tradition Worth Celebrating
Many years ago, a group of pioneering homeschooling moms began gathering at the Sky Top Picnic Area to celebrate their journey. They called it Stone Soup—a nod to the timeless tale of villagers who each contribute one ingredient to create something nourishing and magical together.
These moms homeschooled before the abundance of resources we have today. Their courage and creativity paved the way for all of us. We honor their legacy with this annual gathering.

- 🧃 A drink
- 🪑 A chair or picnic blanket
- 🌟 Your enthusiasm for a joyful afternoon outdoors!
Kids tend to get DIRTY 🙂 and love exploring the woods—dress accordingly!
