CERT members receive training in earthquake awareness, disaster fire suppression techniques, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, and team organization and management.The CERT Class Series consists of five (5) evenings (typically Tuesday & Thursday from 6:30-9:30 p.m.) and one Saturday or Sunday (Field Day from 1-5 p.m.). Attendance at all six (6) sessions is required for certification.
