Keene is the author of the best-selling wartime baseball classic, The Cloudbuster Nine: The Untold Story of Ted Williams and the Baseball Team That Helped Win WWII. Her powerful storytelling weaves together sports, history, and patriotism—bringing to life the incredible story of major league players-turned-fighter pilots during WWII, including baseball legend Ted Williams.
