About the event

Planting, Transplanting, and Re-potting Trees and Shrubs
Spring may be the default season when it comes to planting or gardening, but autumn is ideal for trees and shrubs. The combination of cooler temperatures and fall rain allows trees to establish their roots before the stress of summer. However, improper planting is the number one cause of a shortened life for trees and shrubs. In this class Master Gardener David Doggett will share the latest research-based recommendations and best practices for how one should plant, transplant, or re-pot these staples of the home landscape.

Members: $25 | Nonmembers: $30
