This week's Wednesday Wonder is... About puffballs?

Wednesday Wonders are interactive programs designed to spark the curiosity of young children. This session is for elementary-aged (recommended ages 5-9) learners. Offering a different natural history wonder each week, we will cultivate critical thinking, scientific literacy, and stewardship of our natural surroundings.

This hour-long program emphasizes learning through exploration and discovery outdoors combined with science experiments, activities, play, and art. Come prepared for the weather as we go outside for hikes, creek walks, and activities during all seasons.

Wednesday Wonders meets at the Ben Stout House in Turkey Run Park every Wednesday at 10:30am. Please note, there will be NO Wednesday Wonders on November 12th, November 26th, December 24th, or December 31st.
