NORA Rookie Academy 1

𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 – 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗖 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲!

Looking to get into RC racing? Rookie Academy is a completely FREE, beginner-friendly event open to all ages! Hosted by the NORA Skagit River Raceway RC Club, these sessions run on select dates between October and March 2025 at the Skagit County Fairgrounds (Building F – Sheep Barn).

Rookie Academy offers a zero-pressure, relaxed environment where newcomers can get hands-on experience driving RC cars. Bring your own car or take a spin with one of our loaner vehicles provided by NORA.

Program Director Chad Milner and a rotating crew of friendly NORA club members will be there to offer guidance, track tips, and answer any questions.

Attendance is 100% free! Please note that depending on turnout, wheel time with the loaner cars or access to the track may be shared to ensure everyone gets a chance to drive.
