Kick-Off of Eggs to Chickens

It has been about a dozen and a half years or so since Mt. Sterling Public Library has hatched chickens for all visitors to see. We are excited to announce that we will be hatching chicks again in the spring!

The Madison County OSU Extension Office will be providing fertilized chicken eggs, an incubator, and literature for this project. Eggs will arrive on March 17. The public is welcome to join us for a kick-off of this educational and fun journey at 6:00 p.m.
