This panel delves into the profound interconnections between dance, nature, and the environment, particularly within the contexts of resistance, communication, and survival strategies. It illuminates how embodied practices serve as vital responses to ecological and colonial traumas, offering pathways for healing and reclamation. It explores the roles of dance as a medium of resistance, a tool for communication, and a strategy for survival among Indigenous, Black, and other marginalized communities.

Ce panel se penche sur les liens profonds qui unissent la danse, la nature et l’environnement, en particulier dans les contextes de résistance, de communication et de stratégies de survie. Il met en lumière la façon dont les pratiques corporelles peuvent devenir des réponses essentielles aux traumatismes écologiques et coloniaux, ouvrant des voies de guérison et de réappropriation. On y examine aussi le rôle de la danse comme forme de résistance, outil de communication et stratégie de survie au sein des communautés autochtones, noires, et d’autres communautés marginalisées.
