Experience the magic of Mount Lemmon’s night skies during a guided astronomy evening led by Zane Landers, an experienced astronomer and night-sky guide.
This intimate, small-group experience begins with a brief introduction and presentation, setting the stage for an hour of guided telescope viewing under the winter sky. Guests will explore seasonal highlights such as prominent constellations, the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and deep-sky objects, with live narration that makes the night sky both accessible and awe-inspiring.
Weather permitting, stargazing will take place in the garden to the north of the Lodge, a naturally dark setting ideal for celestial viewing. In the event of cloud cover or unfavorable conditions, the experience will transition indoors to a Lodge lecture-style presentation, ensuring guests still enjoy an engaging and educational evening.
This is a set-time experience designed to provide a high-quality, unrushed viewing opportunity with limited attendance.
