Presented by Reimagine Resistance
Friends, family, and fellow citizens—
we gather not in despair, but in reflection and gratitude, to honor the life and legacy of our dearly departed Democracy.
Join us for an evening of remembrance, storytelling, and music as we celebrate what democracy has meant to us—the freedoms we’ve cherished, the struggles we’ve shared, and the ideals we still hold dear.
A pastor will preside over the service, and Uncle Sam himself will be present, lying in state, as we invite everyone to share a few words about what they love—or once loved—about Democracy.
All are welcome to this free, public event. Expect some laughter, maybe a few tears, likely some poetry, and definitely some music.
The visitation starts at 6:00 pm. Come dressed in black if you wish—or in red, white, and blue if you still believe.
All are welcome as we remember what once was, and reimagine a future that honors Democracy’s gifts.
