About the event

Ash Wednesday

Join us for a soup supper in the Gathering Space at 6:00 PM followed by a time of worship in the Sanctuary at 6:30 PM with the imposition of ashes.

Ash Wednesday is a time when we reflect on our mortality (we are made from dust and to dust we will return). It is the beginning of the Christian season of Lent, preparing us for both the cross and the resurrection as we approach Holy Week. It is an evening for self-examination and turning toward God.

This year our Ash Wednesday service will be led by our confirmation students.
