“Cyanotype is an alternative photographic process that creates Prussian blue and white images by coating surfaces with a light-sensitive chemical solution, placing objects on them, and exposing them to UV light boxes or sunlight. After exposure, the surface is washed with water, which stops the chemical reaction and reveals the detailed, blue-tinted image. This camera-less technique is known for its historical use in making blueprints and is now a popular method for creating artistic prints with natural objects, film negatives, or digital negatives.”
