NonProfit CoLab

The Nonprofit CoLAB is a university-based convening designed to strengthen the nonprofit ecosystem of Rome and Floyd County by creating space for honest dialogue, shared learning, and strategic collaboration. Hosted during Berry College Business Week, the CoLAB brings together nonprofit executives, board members, faculty, healthcare leaders, and cross-sector partners to rethink how good gets done in our community.

Rather than focusing on individual organizations, the Nonprofit CoLAB centers on collective capacity—leadership, governance, financial sustainability, partnerships, and impact. Through panel discussions, expert briefings, and facilitated working sessions, participants will explore current sector challenges, emerging trends, and practical pathways for collaboration that lead to more sustainable and effective solutions.

The CoLAB is coordinated and facilitated by Dr. Courtney Cash and the C-Seed staff, leveraging Berry College’s role as a neutral convener and learning institution. In partnership with the Atrium Rome Floyd Healthcare Foundation, this gathering aims to strengthen relationships, surface shared priorities, and lay the groundwork for future cross-sector initiatives that benefit the entire community.
