This is an open community day to celebrate 8 years since the rebuilding of this important research centre.
Destroyed by fire, the Twertup Filed Studies centre (headquarters of Friends of the Fitzgerald River National Park) was rebuilt through the dedicated effort volunteers and community supporters.
Located in the heart of the Fitzgerald River National Park accessible by FWD.
The FFRNP invite you to celebrate this with activities for both adult and children.

GETTING THERE: Two courtesy buses are organised to ensure there is sufficient parking and to keep dieback risk to a minimum.
BUS 1 - will depart from Hopetoun and pick up in Ravensthorpe & Jacup
BUS 2 - will depart from Wellstead and stop at Boxwood, Gairdner, Jerramungup and Jacup.
Tickets $10 Adults / $5 children - will be available soon through Humantix.

Please note: If it has been raining before the event, the FRNP may be closed due to the risk of spreading Phytophthora cinnamomi (dieback). If this is the case the event will not be held.
