School Holiday Program-Sourdough Bread Making -Ages 12 plus

This is a comprehensive workshop on learning the ins and outs of sourdough baking. Kym has tailored this workshop so sourdough baking can be accessible to everyone and can be easily made at home using common appliances. You will also leave with a sourdough starter, recipes and the knowledge learnt from the day to start or build onto your sourdough journey.

Sourdough bread making level 1: From starter to Loaf

What you will learn:- The process from start to finish on baking your own sourdough bread loaves.

- Ingredients and components of sourdough bread making- Variations in flour blends, where to source good flour.

- How to bake your sourdough in a home kitchen and baking equipment.

- tasting sourdough bread- How to feed/care for your sourdough starter.

- Q&A- Bread related Dad Jokes

• Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds as all material and equipment will be purchased in advance however, you can pass on your ticket to a friend.
