Mini Sense Seekers is a sensory playgroup led by an experienced dipolma qualified childhood educator.

join us for mornings filled with with engaging activities, singing, dancing and a passion for nurturing children's learning. Get ready to Play, Explore, Create using your 5 senses.

Sensory play is paramount for the holistic development of young children, fostering their cognitive, emotional and physical growth. Through hands-on experiences that engage their 5 senses (touch, sight, sound, smell and taste) children explore and comprehend the world around them. These activities not only enhance fine and gross motor skills but also social skills as children collaborate and communicate during shared experiences. The best kind of learning happens whilst children play!

Play isn't just fun, it's the best teacher

This is a parent-supervised session so children must not be left alone or unsupervised at any point during the session especially if engaging in water-based play or with small loose parts. Parents are fully encouraged to get involved with their little ones

Inc: Cancellation Policy

Parent/caregivers are to accept full responsibility for the safety and supervision of your child/children whilst attending a Mini Sense Seekers session. Please do not leave your child unattended at any time.

Mini Sense Seekers take no responsibility for any injuries sustained during a session. There will be a fully stocked first aid kit on site.

All products used are non-toxic or taste-safe however they are not intended to be eaten. There will be no nuts, soy, dairy or eggs in our messy play but some products used will have allergy labels (mainly oats /containing gluten). Please advise us of any allergies your child has at the time of booking.

Mini Sense Seekers take no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings during a session.

Some of the sessions can involve messy play so please dress your child in clothes that you do not mind getting stained or dirty. Mini Sense Seekers takes no responsibility for clothes damaged or stained during sessions.

WAIVER:

This Waiver applies to children’s play services provided by Mini Sense Seekers.

When you agree to this Waiver, you do so on your behalf and that of your child or your children who are participating in mini sense seekers programs and events.

Play services include but are not limited to child-led sensory play, messy play, risky play, loose parts play, nature play and bush walking. Activities include access to water, small and large loose parts and children’s tools.

While playing my child(ren) and or myself may be exposed to dangers and hazards, including but not limited to: trip hazards, hostile or aggressive wildlife, snake bites, falls, skin cuts or scrapes, sprains, bone fractures, concussions, plant allergens or other irritants, biting or stinging insects,

If you do not wish to be exposed to such risks associated with play activities provided by Mini Sense Seekers under the terms of the Waiver Agreement ("Form") below, you should not participate in play services organised by Mini Sense Seekers.

You are advised that play services may include activities such as climbing that may be a Dangerous Recreational Activity with Obvious Risks as defined by the Civil Liability Amendment (Personal Responsibility) Act 2002.

YOU ARE PARTICIPATING AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I UNDERSTAND that participation in activities can expose the named participant to risk and possible injuries. I understand that there is a qualified First Aid attendant on site and hereby consent to receive medical treatment, including transportation to a doctor or hospital, which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during this activity.

I UNDERSTAND that play activities may involve risks that may cause various injuries and that such injuries may result in death or severe disability.

I UNDERSTAND that play may result in adverse health events such as hyperventilation or injury caused by falls.

I UNDERSTAND the risks of play and wish to participate in play services organised by Mini Sense Seekers and do so entirely at my own risk of injury or bodily harm to myself and my child.

I UNDERSRAND that due to the location and nature of our sessions, the weather has the potential to impact participants’ safety. I recognise that Mini Sense Seekers reserves the right to cancel/implement alternative activities in the event of inclement and undesirable weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

I AGREE and acknowledge that wearing any jewellery and or loose articles of clothing (including but not limited to ties, scarves, etc.) is a potential risk during outdoor play and climbing and could lead to serious injury and accept this form as formal advice from Mini Sense Seekers to remove such items during all play activities.

I AGREE I am not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any illicit substances.

This Waiver applies to children’s play services provided by Mini Sense Seekers ABN 13 847 143 384.

By signing the Form, I confirm I have read this WAIVER AND UNDERSTAND I ASSUME ALL RISK IN RELATION TO PLAY SERVICES PROVIDED BY Mini Sense Seekers.

I hereby release Mini Sense Seekers, all employees, staff and assistants of Mini Sense Seekers and all hired venues or any other persons involved in my participation play services from any suit, demand, action or claim for compensation, whether for personal injury or damage to property arising from my participation.

I AGREE, and I am aware that this Waiver is ongoing and will apply to all future occasions participate in play services by Mini Sense Seekers.

I furthermore acknowledge that this document is contractual and may be relied upon in any proceedings by me, my heirs, executors, and assigns.
