Mt Angel Oktoberfest trip

Mark your calendars for the annual Mount Angel Oktoberfest! This year's theme is Family and Friends, Eat, Drink, Polka! This is a four-day celebration of the harvest, Bavarian style! There is so much to see and do at Oktoberfest! There will be great entertainment at the Bandstand and plenty of bleachers for seating and watching the performances.

There will be over 120 artisans displaying their arts and crafts for sale. These artists and craftsmen bring their finest hand-crafted products and Bavarian-themed products.

Have a light breakfast so you can enjoy your choice of sausages, brauts and sauerkraut and German style favorites like Ruben or Berliner sandwiches and Spatzle.

Only 3 venues, the Biergarten, Weingarten and Alpinegarten, need tickets, and you can buy them when you are ready to go in or purchase them at a wristband booth. Cost for those tickets is $10.00 per person. The rest of the festival is free admission and has plenty of music, food, and performances too.

Standard fee is $25; 60+ Activity Center members receive a $5 discount.
