Sustaining School Improvement and Professional Learning Communities through Lesson Study
We are pleased to invite you to the closing conference of the Erasmus+ project ‘Implementing Digital Tools to increase student engagement in Language through Lesson Study’ and the culmination of a collaborative journey between Sacred Heart Junior School and Porsholen Skole, Norway.
This project has investigated how Lesson Study, a structured approach to educator collaboration and reflection, can strengthen professional communities and practice to raise student outcomes. Throughout its duration, the partners exchanged experiences, participated in Lesson Study cycles and professional dialogue for applying Lesson Study in diverse educational contexts.
This final conference will present the project’s aims, outcomes and insights generated by the partnership between Sacred Heart Primary School, Porsholen Skole, the Faculty of Education at the University of Malta and the Secretariat for Catholic Education.
