Walking along a pilgrimage route takes the pilgrim on an inner journey of discovery. In these experiences, we will journey along the Camino Mariae Melitensis, a route dating back to the 15th century that starts in Marsaxlokk and ends at Ta’ Pinu, Gozo.
As pilgrims who have left their homes on a journey to discover the will of God, we will tread upon the path and embark on a journey inward, while discovering country lanes and villages immersed in the Maltese and Gozitan landscape.
This year we will have ten walks of around 6 to 8km each on the last Saturday of each month starting on 27 September. In May we shall end with a weekend in Gozo. Each experience is a stand-alone event, and participants can choose which to attend based on the length of each route.
Our First Walk
We will start our Marian pilgrimage at Tas-Silġ, Marsaxlokk. As always, there will be moments of reflection and sharing. We will end our walk with the celebration of Holy Mass.
